ZenBusiness Keeps Asking Me to Log In
If ZenBusiness repeatedly asks you to log in or shows "Your session has expired," your device's clock is likely out of sync with the actual time. Browser session tokens are time-sensitive — a clock more than a few minutes off causes sessions to expire immediately. Fix your device's clock and the issue typically resolves.
Step 1: Check Your Device's Clock
- Go to time.is — this shows your device's current time versus actual network time and the difference between them
- If your device's clock is more than 1–2 minutes off, sync it:
Windows:
Settings → Time & Language → Date & Time → click Sync now
Mac:
System Settings → General → Date & Time → enable Set time and date automatically
iPhone:
Settings → General → Date & Time → turn on Set Automatically
Android:
Settings → General Management → Date and Time → turn on Automatic date and time
- After syncing, restart your browser and log in again
This resolves the vast majority of repeated login issues.
Step 2: Clear Browser Cookies
If the clock sync didn't fix it, stale session cookies may be forcing repeated logins:
- In Chrome: three-dot menu (⋮) → More Tools → Clear Browsing Data
- Check Cookies and other site data (and Cached images and files)
- Click Clear data
- Log in again
Step 3: Check for Extensions Clearing Cookies
Some browser extensions (especially privacy tools or cookie cleaners) are configured to clear cookies on browser close or at intervals. This would log you out every time they run:
- Three-dot menu → More Tools → Extensions
- Toggle off all extensions
- Log in and see if the problem persists
If it's resolved, re-enable extensions one at a time to identify the culprit.
