A card invoice is an invoice that is an invoice where a client pays with a card number and an ACH invoice is where a client will use their bank account to directly transfer funds from. ACH stands for Automated Clearing House. An ACH is also known as an electronic check. ACH payments allow for your client to process a payment directly from their bank account to your merchant account.

ACH payments are usually settled quicker into your merchant account. An ACH payment also has a 1% + $1.00 fee per transaction rather than the 2.9% + $0.30 for a traditional credit card transaction. Once you’ve decided to transfer the money to your linked bank account, the deposit will typically take 2-3 business days to post to your bank account.
