How can I use my virtual card?

Once you’ve opened a ZenBusiness account, it’s time to cover expenses and start investing in your business.

A physical debit card will be shipped to you after you open an account, but until then, you can use your virtual debit card. It’s instantly available once your account is approved and you can access it on your ZenBusiness Banking Dashboard:

Click “Show virtual card details” to see your card number and copy it to use it on online transactions

We don’t yet support adding your virtual card to your phone’s mobile wallet. We’re working on it!

How do I activate my debit card?

You don’t need to activate your virtual card. It’s ready to use as soon as you’re approved.

To activate your physical debit card, log in to your ZenBusiness Dashboard and you should see a banner at the top with the prompt to activate. Follow the prompts to enter your CVV and to create a pin.

If you run into issues or cannot log in, call Visa card support at 1-833-333-1098 to activate your card over the phone.

If you have enough funds, then reach out to the Card Support number on the back of your card. This is a direct line to Visa who can help resolve any issues with your card: 1-833-333-1098

Does a temporary debit authorization hold affect my account balance?

Yes, it does affect your account balance. We take into account all holds when showing your Available Balance on your ZenBusiness Dashboard.

This hold is placed by the merchant, and ZenBusiness is not responsible for debit card holds. This is common, and will eventually be adjusted to the actual amount of your purchase, which may take up to 3 days.
