ZenBusiness Dashboard Not Loading or Displaying Correctly
If your ZenBusiness dashboard shows a blank screen, links don't work, pop-ups won't close, or documents aren't readable, switch to Google Chrome first — the dashboard is built and tested for Chrome. If you're already using Chrome, clear your cache and try an Incognito window to isolate the issue.
Step 1: Switch to Google Chrome
The ZenBusiness dashboard is designed and tested for Google Chrome. Safari, Firefox, Edge, and other browsers may work for basic browsing but can cause display issues, broken functionality, and document rendering problems.
If switching to Chrome solves the issue, you can continue using it for ZenBusiness while using other browsers elsewhere.
Step 2: Clear Your Browser Cache
Stale cached data is the most common cause of dashboard problems in Chrome:
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right → More Tools → Clear Browsing Data
- Check Cached images and files (also recommended: Cookies and other site data)
- Click Clear data
- Go back to app.zenbusiness.com and log in
Step 3: Try Incognito Mode
Incognito mode disables extensions and uses a fresh session:
- Three-dot menu (⋮) → New Incognito Window (or Ctrl+Shift+N / Cmd+Shift+N)
- Go to app.zenbusiness.com and log in
If Incognito works but normal Chrome doesn't → a browser extension is causing the problem. Continue to Step 4.
If Incognito also doesn't work → skip to Step 5 (update Chrome).
Step 4: Disable Browser Extensions
- Three-dot menu → More Tools → Extensions
- Toggle off all extensions
- Reload the dashboard
- Re-enable extensions one at a time to find the culprit
Common offenders: ad blockers, privacy extensions, VPNs running as browser extensions.
Step 5: Update Chrome
Outdated Chrome can cause compatibility issues:
- Three-dot menu → Help → About Google Chrome
- Chrome checks for updates automatically
- If an update is available, click Update Google Chrome
- Click Relaunch when complete
Frequently Asked Questions
My documents aren't legible or displaying correctly. What do I do?
This is almost always a browser issue. Switch to Chrome and clear your cache — document rendering works correctly in an up-to-date Chrome browser. If documents still won't load after clearing cache, try downloading them instead of previewing in browser.
I'm on a Mac and using Safari. Will that work?
Basic dashboard browsing works in Safari, but you may encounter issues with certain features. ZenBusiness officially supports and tests with Chrome. Switching to Chrome is the fastest fix.
The dashboard keeps logging me out. Is that related?
