How to Cancel a ZenBusiness Subscription

To cancel any ZenBusiness service, log in at app.zenbusiness.com, click your profile icon → Account SettingsSubscriptions, find the service you want to cancel, and click Cancel. You can also call (844) 493-6249 to cancel with a support representative.

What You Can Cancel (and What You Can't)

ZenBusiness has several separate subscriptions — each must be canceled independently. The most common ones:

Important for Registered Agent: Never cancel your registered agent subscription without appointing a replacement first. Your LLC is legally required to have an active registered agent at all times. If your registered agent lapses, your business can face penalties and dissolution.

Step-by-Step: Cancel a Subscription

  1. Log in at app.zenbusiness.com
  2. Click your profile icon (top right)
  3. Go to Account Settings
  4. Click the Subscriptions tab
  5. Find the service you want to cancel
  6. Click Cancel and follow the confirmation prompts

Access to the service continues until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.

Canceling Specific Services

Canceling Money Pro

Money Pro can be self-canceled in your Subscriptions tab. Your data is retained for 90 days after your billing period ends — export your transaction history, reports, and invoices before then. See How to Cancel Money Pro for the full walkthrough.

Canceling Worry-Free Compliance

Cancel in your Subscriptions tab. After canceling, you're responsible for tracking your own annual report deadlines. Your next annual report due date appears in your compliance calendar — note it before canceling.

Canceling Registered Agent

Contact our support team at (844) 493-6249 before canceling. We'll confirm a replacement registered agent is in place before we process the cancellation. You cannot legally operate without one.

Canceling ZenBusiness Banking

Contact support to begin the account closure process. Ensure your account balance is $0 and no pending transactions exist before requesting closure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will canceling one service affect my other ZenBusiness services?

No — each subscription is independent. Canceling Money Pro doesn't affect your Registered Agent service, and vice versa. You can cancel individual services without impacting others.

I canceled but I'm still being charged. What do I do?

Contact support immediately at (844) 493-6249 or support@zenbusiness.com. Have your account email and the charge date ready. If a cancellation was processed but billing continued in error, we'll refund the incorrect charge.

Can I get a refund when I cancel?

Refund eligibility varies by service. Most ZenBusiness formation services are non-refundable once the state filing has been submitted. Subscription services (Money Pro, Registered Agent, Worry-Free Compliance) are generally non-refundable for the current billing period. Annual subscriptions may be eligible for prorated refunds within 30 days of purchase — contact support to discuss your situation.

I want to cancel everything. How do I close my ZenBusiness account entirely?

Contact our support team at (844) 493-6249. Full account closure involves canceling all active subscriptions and closing any ZenBusiness Banking accounts.
