Overview

Money Pro is a subscription service billed monthly or annually. There are no long-term contracts, no cancellation fees, and no limits on features based on which billing plan you choose — both plans include everything.

This is the most-asked-about topic in our support queue, so we've made this article as thorough as possible. Whether you want to understand what you're paying for, need to cancel, want to know what happens to your data afterward, or have a billing question, you'll find the answer here. Is Money Pro Included in My ZenBusiness Plan?

Some ZenBusiness formation and compliance packages bundle Money Pro at no additional cost. To check:

  1. Log in at zenbusiness.com
  2. Click your profile (top right) → Account SettingsSubscriptions
  3. If Money Pro is listed without a separate charge, it's included in your bundle

How to Cancel Money Pro

Cancellation is self-service and takes about two minutes. There is no cancellation fee.

Via Your Dashboard (Recommended)

  1. Log in at zenbusiness.com
  2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner
  3. Select Account Settings
  4. Go to the Subscriptions tab
  5. Find Money Pro in the list
  6. Click Cancel and follow the prompts to confirm

Your Money Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period — you're not cut off immediately. No partial refund is issued for unused days on a monthly plan.

Note: Cancelling Money Pro cancels only the Money Pro subscription. It does not affect your other ZenBusiness services — your Registered Agent, Annual Report service, compliance tracking, and any other ZenBusiness subscriptions remain active.


What Happens After You Cancel?

Access After Cancellation

Your dashboard access ends immediately when your cancellation takes effect. You will not be able to log in or export data after that point.

Download your data before you cancel. The best export is the Tax Details (for Tax Filing) report: go to ReportsTax ReportsTax Details (for Tax Filing). This is the most complete record of your Money Pro data.

30-Day Re-Purchase Window

If you cancel and later want your data back, re-purchase Money Pro within 30 days. When you resubscribe within that window, all your previous data is fully restored. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted — re-purchasing starts a fresh account with no prior history.

Bank credentials are disconnected immediately when you cancel for your security. This does not affect your ZenBusiness Banking account.


Download Your Data Before You Cancel

Once you cancel, your dashboard access ends immediately. Download everything before initiating cancellation.

Tax Details Report (Recommended)

  1. Go to ReportsTax Reports
  2. Click Tax Details (for Tax Filing)
  3. Download and save

This is the most complete export of your Money Pro data.

Additional Exports

  • Transactions: Expenses or Income tab → Export → select full date range → CSV
  • Invoices: Invoicing tab → Export All for bulk PDF download
  • Other tax reports: Reports → Tax Reports → Schedule C Report and Profit & Loss Statement

Refund Policy

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscription fees are not refundable. You paid for the current month and retain access through the end of it. Cancel before your next renewal date to avoid being charged for the following month.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are eligible for a prorated refund within 30 days of your original purchase date. The refund covers the unused months remaining in your annual term. After 30 days, no refund is issued — you retain access through the end of the annual year.

Exceptions

  • If Money Pro experienced a service outage or technical issue that prevented you from using it, contact our support team. We evaluate these situations case-by-case and may issue a credit or refund.
  • If you were charged twice or billed for Money Pro without ever activating it, contact our support team immediately — duplicate and erroneous charges are refunded.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact our support team via phone, chat, or email
  2. Provide your account email address and the dates of the charge in question
  3. Describe the situation (within-30-day annual cancellation, double charge, technical issue, etc.)
  4. Eligible refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. Allow an additional 3–5 days for the refund to appear in your bank account depending on your bank.

How do I cancel Money Pro?

Log in to zenbusiness.com, click your profile icon → Account Settings → Subscriptions → find Money Pro → Cancel. Your access continues through the end of your current billing period. No fee, no hassle. You can also Contact our support team or use live chat if you prefer to do it with a team member.

Will cancelling Money Pro affect my other ZenBusiness services?

No. Cancelling Money Pro cancels only the Money Pro subscription. Your Registered Agent service, Annual Report filings, ZenBusiness Banking, and any other ZenBusiness services remain completely unaffected.

I cancelled Money Pro but I'm still being charged. What do I do?

Contact our support team immediately. Have your account email and the charge date ready. If a cancellation was processed but billing continued in error, we'll refund the incorrect charge.

What happens to my invoices and transaction history when I cancel?

Your dashboard access ends immediately when you cancel. Your data is held for 30 days — if you re-purchase Money Pro within that window, all your previous data is fully restored. After 30 days, the data is permanently deleted. Download your data before canceling using the Tax Details (for Tax Filing) report in Reports → Tax Reports.

Can I put my Money Pro subscription on pause instead of cancelling?

We don't currently offer a pause option. You can cancel and resubscribe later — if you re-purchase within 30 days of cancelling, all your previous data is restored.

I reactivated Money Pro after cancelling. Is my old data still there?

If you re-purchased within 30 days of cancelling, yes — all your previous data is fully restored. If more than 30 days passed, the data was permanently deleted and you'll start with a fresh account.

What if my access was cut off before I expected?

If you believe your access ended earlier than it should have, contact our support team immediately. Provide your account email and the date you expected access to continue. Our team can investigate and confirm whether your data is still within the 30-day window.

Can I switch from monthly to annual billing (or vice versa)?

Yes. Contact our support team to switch your billing plan. If you switch from monthly to annual, you'll be charged the annual rate at your next renewal and the per-month cost drops. If you switch from annual to monthly, the change takes effect at your next renewal date — you won't receive a refund for the unused annual period, but you'll be billed monthly going forward.

How do I update my payment method?

Log in → profile icon → Account Settings → Billing → Update Payment Method. Update your card details and save. The new card will be used for your next renewal.

I was charged for Money Pro but I never set it up. Can I get a refund?

Yes — if you were charged for Money Pro and never activated or accessed the service, contact our support team with your account email and the charge date. We'll confirm no usage occurred and refund the charge.

Erroneous charges — duplicate charges, billing after a confirmed cancellation, or charges for a subscription that was never activated — are always refundable, regardless of plan type or timing. See the ZenBusiness Support Terms for the canonical refund policy across all products.

Does cancelling Money Pro affect my ZenBusiness Banking account?

No. ZenBusiness Banking is a separate service from Money Pro. Cancelling Money Pro stops the bookkeeping tracking and cancels the link between your banking transactions and Money Pro — it does not close, freeze, or affect your ZenBusiness Banking account in any way.
