How to Accept Online Payments in Money Pro
To accept online payments in Money Pro, complete the built-in merchant account application from Invoices, wait for approval, then send invoices with the Pay Now button enabled. Clients can pay by credit card, debit card, or ACH bank transfer. Card fees are 2.9% + $0.30; ACH fees are 0.8% capped at $5.
Step 1: Apply for the Merchant Account
- Log in at app.zenbusiness.com
- Go to ZenBusiness Money → Invoices
- Click Get Started on the payment collection prompt
- Complete the merchant account application
- Watch your email for any verification requests
Approval timeline: typically within 5 business days. If more documentation is needed, it may take longer.
Step 2: Send an Invoice With Payment Enabled
Once approved:
1. Create or open an invoice
2. Confirm online payment is enabled
3. Click Save and Send
4. Your client receives the invoice email with a Pay Now button
Clients can pay using:
- Credit card
- Debit card
- ACH bank transfer

There are no monthly fees, no setup fees, and no long-term contracts.
How Payouts Work
After your client pays:
- The invoice is marked Paid immediately
- The payment typically appears in your merchant account within 2–3 business days
- Transfer to your bank usually takes another 2–3 business days
Typical total payout time: 4–6 business days from payment to bank deposit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I send invoices without accepting online payments?
Yes. Online payments are optional. You can still send invoices and record payments manually if clients pay by check, wire, cash, or another method.
What payment methods are not supported?
Money Pro currently supports cards and ACH. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, Afterpay, and Cash App are not currently supported.
Can international clients pay my invoices?
Yes. International cards are supported through the underlying payment processor, as long as they run on a supported card network.
