Move Your Money From ZenBusiness Banking to a New Bank
To move your money out of ZenBusiness Banking, open a new business bank account, link it under Banking → Connected Accounts, then go to Banking → Overview → Move Money → Send Money, choose the linked account, enter the amount, and authorize the transfer. Finish before your account closes on November 30, 2026, and redirect deposits before November 1.
Before You Start
- Key dates. Deposits into ZenBusiness Banking are disabled starting November 1, 2026. Accounts close on November 30, 2026. Any balance greater than $1.00 left after that is mailed as a check to the address on file.
- You need an open account first. To compare options, see Bank of America vs Mercury or explore them at zenbusiness.com/mfe/banking/transition. You can also use any other bank.
- Start early. Account opening and transfer times vary, and a transfer that is still pending when the account closes may not complete.
Step 1: Open Your New Account
Open the account you chose and keep its routing and account numbers handy. Opening an account with any bank is subject to that bank's eligibility requirements and approval.
Step 2: Link the New Account
- Log in to your ZenBusiness account.
- Go to Banking.
- Open Connected Accounts.
- Click Link account.
- Continue through the Plaid flow and search for or select your new bank.
- Sign in to that bank and authorize the connection.
- Return to the Banking dashboard and confirm the linked account appears.
If your new bank does not appear in Plaid, see Linking External Accounts to ZenBusiness Banking for the options.
Step 3: Send the Money
- Log in to ZenBusiness Banking and go to Banking → Overview.
- Click Move Money.
- Choose Send Money.
- Select your linked account.
- Enter the amount.
- Choose the transfer type.
- Review and authorize the transfer.
Transfer Types and Timing
| Transfer type | Timing |
|---|---|
| Standard ACH | 3 to 5 business days |
| Same-day ACH, sent before 4:30 pm | Same day |
| Same-day ACH, sent after 4:30 pm | Next business day |
| Domestic wire | Faster than ACH |
Standard and same-day ACH transfers are free, and starting October 1, 2026, ZenBusiness is not charging wire fees. Your new bank may charge its own fees, so review its terms before you start.
Transfer Limits
ACH transfers are limited to $10,000 a day and $100,000 a month. Wire transfers are limited to $50,000 a day and $100,000 a month. If your balance is larger than a limit allows, start early so you can send it over several days, and contact our support team before November 30. Limits can change, so check Sending Money with ZenBusiness Banking for the current numbers.
Step 4: Redirect Deposits and Payments
- Give your employer, customers, and payment processors your new banking information before November 1. Deposits into ZenBusiness Banking are not forwarded, and after November 1 incoming funds are rejected or returned to the sender.
- Update automatic payments, subscriptions, payroll, loans, taxes, insurance, and vendor payments that use your ZenBusiness Banking account.
- Switch any recurring charges that use your ZenBusiness Banking debit card. The card stops working when the account closes on November 30.
Step 5: Confirm Your Mailing Address
Confirm your mailing address at zenbusiness.com/mfe/banking/transition before November 30. Allow up to six weeks for a mailed check to arrive.
Step 6: Check That Everything Moved
In the Transactions section of your Banking dashboard, confirm each transfer shows as completed and your balance is where you expect. Download any statements you want to keep. Statements and transaction records stay available on your Banking dashboard for at least one year after your account closes.

Plaid may not support every bank. See Linking External Accounts to ZenBusiness Banking for the other option, or contact our support team with your bank's name.
Can I close my account before November 30?
Contact our support team if you want to close sooner. Closures are handled by support, and the account needs a zero balance and no pending transactions. All accounts close automatically on November 30, 2026, so you do not need to cancel.
