Sending Money with ZenBusiness Banking
ZenBusiness Banking supports sending money by ACH, same-day ACH, domestic wire transfer, online payment to a payee, transfer to a linked account, and paper check. Standard ACH is free and usually takes 3 to 5 business days. Domestic wires are faster but have a $15 fee and a $50,000 daily limit.
Overview
This guide covers all the ways to send money from ZenBusiness Banking: online transfers to payees or linked accounts, wire transfers, ACH, paper checks, transfer tracking, and stopping a pending transfer. To add money to your account instead, see Depositing Money in ZenBusiness Banking.
Before You Send Money
The right payment flow depends on who you are paying.
- If you are moving money to another account you own, you may want to use a linked account.
- If you are paying someone else, start by adding them as a payee.
- If you need a faster bank-to-bank payment, use a wire transfer.
- If a paper payment works better, you can use a check tied to your account.
Choosing the right method upfront helps avoid delays, unnecessary fees, and failed payments.
Add a Payee
A payee is a person or business you want to send money to from your ZenBusiness Banking account. Saving a payee reduces manual entry and makes future payments easier.
How to add a payee
- Log in to your ZenBusiness account.
- Go to Banking.
- Open Payees.
- Click Add a Payee.
- Enter the payee’s information.
- Save the payee.
Send Money Online

You can choose from three transfer types:
- Standard ACH — free, 3 to 5 business days
- Same-day ACH — free, same day if sent before 4:30 pm
- Domestic wire transfer — $15 fee, faster delivery
Steps to send money online
- Log in to your ZenBusiness Banking account.
- Go to Banking → Overview.
- Click Move Money.
- Choose Send Money.

What if no payee or linked account is set up yet?
If you want to send money to another account you own, first link that account. If you want to send money to another person or business, add them as a payee before starting the transfer.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I send money to someone from ZenBusiness Banking?
Go to Banking → Overview → Move Money → Send Money. Select a linked account (for accounts you own) or a payee (for payments to others). Choose your transfer type — Standard ACH (free, 3–5 days), Same-day ACH (free, same day before 4:30 pm), or Wire ($15 fee, faster).
My ACH transfer didn't arrive — what should I do?
Check the transfer status in Banking → Connected Accounts or Payees → three-dot menu → Transaction history. Standard ACH takes 3–5 business days. Same-day ACH submitted after 4:30 pm processes the next business day. Federal holidays add one business day. If the status shows Failed, contact support with the transaction details.
Can I cancel a transfer I just sent?
Contact support as quickly as possible. Whether a transfer can be stopped depends on the type and how far it has progressed. Same-day ACH and wires move faster and may not be cancellable once submitted.
Does ZenBusiness support international wire transfers?
No. International wire transfers are not currently supported. For international payments, use a service like Wise (wise.com) and transfer to your ZenBusiness Banking account via ACH once funds are in USD.
