Mobile Check Deposits

ZenBusiness makes it easy to deposit checks using your mobile phone. You can deposit checks to your ZenBusiness Banking account by logging in to your ZenBusiness account from a mobile browser. You cannot deposit checks on the desktop or mobile app yet.

To deposit a check, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your ZenBusiness account

  2. Click “Banking” in the left menu and go to “Overview”

  3. Click “Move Money” on the Banking dashboard

  4. Select “Check deposit”

  5. Follow the guidelines on the next page and upload the check using your device’s camera. Be sure to prep the check correctly!

  6. Enter the deposit amount, upload front and back pictures of the check per the instructions, and click “Submit.”

What is a properly endorsed check?

First, verify that the check is made out to you, the business owner, or the legal business name and is an acceptable check. Next, endorse the back of the check by signing your name or printing your business name on the signature line. Below that, write “For mobile deposit at Thread Bank.”

Non - eligible checks

Checks may not be accepted if they are:

  • In a currency other than US Dollars

  • payable to someone other than the end customer

  • savings bonds or traveler's checks

  • have already been deposited

  • not readable

  • checks without a date, have been post-dated, or are more than 6 months old

How long does it take for funds to be available after using a mobile deposit?

Check deposits are subject to a clearing period and are generally available within 5 to 7 business days.

When can I use a mobile deposit?

You can use mobile deposit at any time, assuming your account is in good standing. However, you can't deposit funds that exceed your 30-day rolling check deposit limit.
