ZenBusiness Banking Debit Card Guide

ZenBusiness Banking includes both a virtual debit card and a physical debit card. The virtual card is available as soon as your account is approved, while the physical card can be activated later through your ZenBusiness dashboard. You can also manage card settings, freeze a card, update your PIN, and add your virtual card to supported digital wallets.

This guide covers both your virtual and physical ZenBusiness debit card: how to view card details, add your virtual card to Apple Pay or Google Pay, activate your physical card, freeze a card, change your PIN, and file a dispute.

Virtual vs. Physical Debit Card

Your virtual debit card is available as soon as your account is approved. You do not need to wait for a physical card to start spending.

The physical debit card is shipped after account opening and must be activated before use.

How to view your virtual card details

  1. Log in to your ZenBusiness Banking account.
  2. Go to Banking and then Overview.
  3. Locate the virtual card image on the dashboard.
  4. Click See virtual card details.

Add Your Virtual Card to a Digital Wallet

You can add your virtual ZenBusiness debit card to Apple Pay or Google Pay once your account is active and funded.

Apple Pay setup

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the + icon.
  3. Choose the option to add a debit or credit card.
  4. Enter the card details manually.
  5. Enter the expiration date and security code.
  6. Accept the terms.
  7. Complete identity verification by OTP.

Google Pay setup

  1. Open the Google Pay app.
  2. Tap + and choose Payment method.
  3. Select the option to add a debit card manually.
  4. Enter the card number, expiration date, and CVV.
  5. Accept the terms.
  6. Complete SMS verification.

Verification codes are sent to the phone number registered with the card.


Activate, Freeze, or Manage a Card

Activate your physical card

Your virtual card does not need activation — it is ready to use as soon as your account is approved.

To activate the physical card:

  1. Log in to your ZenBusiness dashboard.
  2. Look for the activation banner or go to Cards.
  3. Follow the prompts.
  4. Enter the CVV.
  5. Create a PIN.

Freeze a card

If you misplaced a card but do not think it is permanently lost, you can freeze it temporarily.

  1. Log in to ZenBusiness Banking.
  2. Go to Banking → Overview.
  3. Click Manage my card.
  4. Choose Freeze card.
  5. Select the card you want to freeze.

Change your card PIN

  1. Log in to your ZenBusiness Banking account.
  2. Go to Banking → Overview.
  3. Click Manage my cards.
  4. Select Manage PIN.

Disputes and Support

Disputes can take up to 120 days to process. ZenBusiness does not receive status updates from the disputes team during the investigation.

Frequently Asked Questions

My debit card transaction was declined — what should I do?

Check your account balance in Banking → Overview to confirm you have sufficient funds. Verify the card details (number, expiration, CVV, billing ZIP). For online purchases, try the virtual card number instead of the physical card. If details and funds are correct, the merchant or card network may have blocked the transaction — contact support with the merchant name and amount.

My physical card never arrived — what should I do?

Physical cards arrive 3–5 business days after account approval. If it has been more than 7 business days, go to Banking → Debit Cards → Cards and request a replacement. Your virtual card stays active for purchases while you wait.

I can't activate my physical card — how do I fix it?

Go to Banking → Debit Cards, click Activate Physical Card, and enter the full 16-digit card number and CVV exactly as printed. Activation must go through the dashboard — phone or ATM activation is not supported. If the activation button is missing, contact support.

How do I freeze my card if it's lost or stolen?

Go to Banking → Overview → Manage my card → Freeze card and choose which card to freeze. Freezing blocks new transactions immediately but does not cancel the card. If the card was stolen, also go to Banking → Debit Cards → Cards and request a replacement.

How do I replace a lost or stolen card?

Freeze the card first (Banking → Overview → Manage my card → Freeze card), then request a replacement under Banking → Debit Cards → Cards. Replacements arrive in 7–10 business days with a new card number. Your virtual card stays active in the meantime.

Can I add my virtual card to Apple Pay or Google Pay?

Yes. First find your virtual card number: Banking → Overview → See virtual card details. Then — Apple Pay: Wallet app → + → Debit or credit card → Enter manually. Google Pay: Google Pay app → + → Payment method → Enter debit card manually.

Who do I contact for a debit card transaction dispute?

Contact Visa directly at 1-833-333-1098. Disputes can take up to 120 days to process. ZenBusiness does not receive status updates during the investigation — work directly with Visa for updates.

How do I change my debit card PIN?

Go to Banking → Overview → Manage my cards → Manage PIN and follow the prompts.
