Squarespace Domains and Websites Through ZenBusiness
ZenBusiness offers Squarespace Domains and Squarespace Websites as a separate product line from ZenBusiness Website Builder. You purchase and manage your subscription through your ZenBusiness dashboard at Web Tools → Domains or Web Tools → Website, and you build and use the products on squarespace.com. Billing is handled by ZenBusiness; product features and editing are handled by Squarespace.

Buy a Squarespace Domain Through ZenBusiness
- Log in to your ZenBusiness dashboard
- Go to Web Tools in the left sidebar → Domains
- Search for the domain name you want
- Choose your extension (.com, .net, .co, .store, .app, and 200+ others)
- Review pricing and add to cart
- Complete checkout — your domain is registered within a few hours
- Check your email for an activation link from Squarespace
Pricing varies by extension. The most common extensions (.com, .net, .org, .biz) are at the lower end; specialty extensions (.coffee, .legal, .accountants) are higher. Current pricing is shown in your dashboard at checkout.
Buy a Squarespace Website Through ZenBusiness
- Log in to your ZenBusiness dashboard
- Go to Web Tools → Website
- Select the Core plan — the only Squarespace Website plan currently available for purchase through ZenBusiness
- Select annual ($276/yr, billed as $23/mo) or monthly ($36/mo) billing
- Complete checkout
- Create or connect your Squarespace account (see below) — this is where you gain access to your website, not an email link
The Core plan includes Squarespace's full design tools, the Blueprint AI Builder, a 0% online store transaction fee, and integrated SEO. Squarespace's Plus and Advanced plans exist but are not yet available for purchase through ZenBusiness — only Core is offered today.
Set Up Your Squarespace Account
Unlike some other ZenBusiness products, you don't need to wait for an activation email to access your Squarespace website. Right after checkout, your dashboard walks you through one of two options:
- Create a new Squarespace account — ZenBusiness sets this up automatically using the email address on your ZenBusiness account. You'll accept Squarespace's Terms of Service as part of this step.
- Connect an existing Squarespace account — if you already have one (for example, from a Squarespace Domain purchase), authorize the connection when prompted.
Once you finish this step, you're taken straight into Squarespace's Blueprint AI Builder to start designing. Squarespace still sends its own purchase receipt/confirmation email, but that's a record of your purchase — it's not something you need to open to get into your site.

Cancel a Squarespace Subscription
You cancel through ZenBusiness — not through squarespace.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.
- Log in to your ZenBusiness dashboard
- Go to your account or subscription settings
- Locate your Squarespace Domain or Squarespace Website subscription
- Select Cancel Subscription
- Confirm
Your subscription stays active through the end of your paid period, then your domain or website goes offline. You'll keep access through that paid period.
Turn Off Auto-Renewal Without Canceling
If you want your current period to finish without renewing automatically, but you're not ready to cancel outright:
- Dashboard → subscription/account settings
- Locate the Squarespace subscription
- Manage Subscription → toggle off auto-renewal
- Confirm
You won't be charged at renewal. The product stays active through the paid period and goes offline after. You can turn auto-renewal back on at any time before the period ends.
Reactivate a Cancelled Subscription
If your Squarespace subscription has lapsed or you cancelled, you can reactivate from your ZenBusiness dashboard — as long as the domain name or website slug is still available.
- Dashboard → subscription/account settings
- Locate the cancelled Squarespace subscription
- Select Reactivate
- Confirm and pay
If the domain has already been picked up by someone else after expiration, reactivation isn't possible — you'll need to choose a different domain.
Refunds
Refund eligibility for Squarespace Domains and Websites is determined by ZenBusiness, not Squarespace. If you recently cancelled and believe you're eligible for a refund:
- Contact our support team as soon as possible after cancellation
- Reference your order details and purchase date
- Support will confirm eligibility and process the refund if applicable
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. Do not contact Squarespace for billing refunds — Squarespace cannot process billing for purchases you made through ZenBusiness.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why am I being charged by ZenBusiness for a Squarespace product?
Because ZenBusiness is your billing platform for Squarespace products you bought through us — we're an authorized Squarespace reseller. Squarespace provides the product; ZenBusiness manages your subscription and handles all charges. This is expected and correct. Squarespace will not bill you directly for subscriptions purchased through ZenBusiness.
I can't find my Squarespace subscription in my ZenBusiness dashboard. What should I do?
Try these steps:
- Confirm you're logged into the same ZenBusiness account you used at purchase
- Go to Web Tools and check both Domains and Website sections
- Check your email for the original ZenBusiness purchase confirmation — it will tell you which account the subscription is on
- Log out and log back in to refresh your subscription list
- If it's still missing, contact our support team with your order confirmation email
I cancelled my Squarespace subscription but I'm still being charged. What happened?
Common explanations:
- The cancellation processed after a renewal charge. If you cancelled within a day or two of your renewal date, the renewal may have already been billed before the cancellation took effect.
- You only turned off auto-renewal, not cancelled. Auto-renewal off keeps the subscription active through the paid period; full cancellation is a separate action.
- You have multiple Squarespace subscriptions. A domain and a website are separate subscriptions — cancelling one doesn't cancel the other.
Verify the subscription status in your dashboard. If it shows cancelled but you're still being charged, contact our support team with the charge date and confirmation number.
How is Squarespace different from ZenBusiness Website Builder?
They're two separate products. ZenBusiness Website Builder (powered by Duda) is included with several ZenBusiness plans and bundles, has its own editor, and lives entirely in your ZenBusiness dashboard. Squarespace is a separate purchase, has its own editor at squarespace.com, includes built-in eCommerce on every plan, and is known for its design templates. Pick whichever fits your needs — you can't run both for the same site, but you can have one of each for different businesses.
Can I move my existing Squarespace site to be billed through ZenBusiness?
This depends on your current Squarespace subscription type and is handled case-by-case. Contact our support team with your current Squarespace account email and we'll walk you through what's possible.
How long does setting up my Squarespace account take?
Most customers finish the create-or-connect step in under 5 minutes, right after checkout — there's no activation email to wait for. If you closed the browser tab before finishing, log back in to your ZenBusiness dashboard and open your Squarespace Website or Domain subscription to pick up where you left off.
Can I use a Squarespace Domain with a non-Squarespace website?
Yes. A Squarespace Domain is a registered domain name — you can point it at any website (Squarespace Website, ZenBusiness Website Builder, Shopify, WordPress, anywhere) by updating the DNS records on squarespace.com. Domain ownership is independent of where you build your site.
