How to Use the Calendar in ZenBusiness Webmail

If Calendar appears in your ZenBusiness Webmail sidebar, you can create calendars, schedule one-time or recurring events, set reminders, and share calendar access. Open mail.zenbusiness.com, select Calendar, and use the calendar menu to manage calendars and events. If you do not see Calendar, use Calendar Sync Across Devices for supported device-sync options.

Create, Edit, or Delete a Calendar

A separate calendar helps you organize different kinds of work, such as client meetings, personal obligations, or deadlines.

To add a calendar:

  1. Open Calendar in the sidebar.
  2. Open the three-dot menu.
  3. Select Add calendar.
  4. Enter a name and choose a color.
  5. Select Save.

To edit a calendar, select it and choose Edit/share calendar from the menu, or double-click the calendar name. Update its name, color, or sharing settings, then save. To remove a calendar, select it, choose Delete calendar, and confirm the deletion.

Add an Event or Reminder

Select Create or select a date on the calendar to make an event. Enter a clear summary, choose the calendar, and set a start and end date or time. You can also add a location, description, reminder, category, status, privacy setting, URL, participants, and an attachment when those fields are available.

For a recurring event, open the recurrence options and choose the repeat pattern: daily, weekly, monthly, annually, or selected dates. Set how often it repeats and the end date. Review the time zone before saving so clients and team members receive the correct time.

Calendar views include day, week, month, and agenda. Use the view that gives you the right amount of detail for the work you are planning.

Update or Remove an Event

Select an event and choose Edit to change its details. Changes to a recurring event can apply to the entire series, so confirm the update before saving. To remove an event, select it, choose Delete, and confirm.

If you invite participants, make sure the date, time zone, location, and meeting link are complete before sending the invitation. Use a private event setting for personal details that should not appear to people with limited calendar access.

Sync Your Calendar on Another Device

Calendar sync is configured separately from the Webmail calendar. To connect a ZenBusiness calendar to an iPhone or iPad, add a CalDAV account using mail.b.hostedemail.com. For Android, Gmail, or Mac OS X, follow the supported DAVx⁵ or OpenSync flow in Sync Your ZenBusiness Email Calendar Across Devices.

Use your full business email address and business email password for calendar sync. A mail-app server setting does not change the domain's DNS or MX records.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I not see Calendar in Webmail?

Calendar is available only when it appears in your Webmail sidebar. If it is not listed, do not assume an account or DNS error. Use Sync Your ZenBusiness Email Calendar Across Devices for the available device setup, or contact our support team to confirm your account's access.

How do I create another calendar?

Open Calendar, select the three-dot menu, choose Add calendar, enter a name and color, then save. Create separate calendars when you want to distinguish work, personal, client, or deadline events.

Can I make a repeating event?

Yes. When creating or editing an event, open the recurrence options and choose how often it repeats—such as daily, weekly, monthly, or annually—and when the series ends. Review the event time zone before saving a recurring schedule.

Can I share my calendar with someone else?

If the Edit/share calendar option appears for your calendar, use it to set the available sharing permissions. Choose access that matches the information you are sharing. Keep personal or sensitive appointments private when they do not need to be visible to others.

How do I add a reminder to an event?

Create or edit the event, then select a reminder in the event details before saving. You can also review calendar preferences in Settings when available to choose default reminder behavior.

Can I sync the calendar to my iPhone?

Yes. Add a CalDAV account on your iPhone or iPad using server mail.b.hostedemail.com, your full business email address, and your business email password. See Sync Your ZenBusiness Email Calendar Across Devices for the full steps.

Still Need Help?

If a calendar event is missing on one device, confirm that the same account is signed in and the calendar is selected for sync. If Webmail itself does not show Calendar, contact our support team before changing mail or DNS settings.
