Which Article Should I Start With?

Frequently Asked Questions

Where should I start for website, domain, or email help?

Start with the result you need. Use the Website Builder Guide to build or edit a site, the Domain Guide to manage registration or transfers, and the Business Email Setup Guide to create or access an inbox. Each guide links to focused troubleshooting.

What order should I set up website, domain, and email?

Activate the domain first. After that, website and email setup are separate: website connections normally use A/CNAME records, while email uses MX/TXT records. Before changing DNS, save the current records and use the DNS & Email Setup Guide to preserve any service already working.

Can I use a third-party website or domain provider?

Yes. Keep the domain at its current registrar and enter the website connection records at the provider controlling active DNS. Use Connect a Domain to a Website Without Breaking Email for the safe workflow. ZenBusiness Business Email, however, requires a domain registered through ZenBusiness.

How do I connect a website without stopping my email?

Save the current DNS records, update only the A and CNAME values required by the website provider, and preserve email MX and TXT records. Do not clear the DNS list or change nameservers merely to connect a website. Use the DNS & Email Setup Guide before making changes.

Can I use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 with my domain?

Yes. Follow Google or Microsoft’s current instructions at the active DNS host, including whether to replace former email-provider MX records. Preserve website A/CNAME and unrelated TXT records. ZenBusiness support must add Microsoft-supplied SRV values for ZenBusiness-managed DNS. Use the DNS & Email Setup Guide for the complete safe workflow.
